Not all public holidays, but only major religious and national days, as per the School Calendar are observed as holidays.

In order to maintain continuity in a child's education, parents/ guardians are requested not to ask for permission to take their children off-campus except at the scheduled time, as given in the School Calendar issued at the beginning of every academic year.

Training In Leadership And Team Work

The house system with 4 houses encourages discipline through a peer group structure and nourishes the competitive spirit through inter-house contests. The prefectorial system with a School Captain, School Vice Captain and Games Captain at the helm, further ensures discipline and smooth functioning of the school. The Students’ Council is encouraged to deliberate over matters concerning students and a problem solving spirit is inculcated.
Faculty Trained teachers, specifically adept in the use of technology while delivering curriculum, are recruited here at Sheiling House. We are trying to impart in-service training to make them comfortable & competent in using technology as a tool just like any other teaching aid.

Not only high professional qualification and experience but a commitment to children's welfare, sympathetic understanding of their needs and a desire to serve the children's best interests are among the few things expected from the staff.
